We'd like to recognize two racers who really went the extra effort to make the Temple show. Bee Godwin actually drove to Florida the Monday before the event to pick up a new engine after damaging his at our Ennis race. Bee got back Wednesday, put the engine in Thursday and tested Friday before coming to Temple Saturday! It all paid off too! Congruatations Bee!
Doug Morrison, our NE 3 points leader, found a crack in his block on Wednesday before the event and thrashed all day and night on Friday to get an engine removed from a dragster and put in his altered to make the show at Temple! Thank you Doug for your dedication and support of the SHRA series!
Thanks to EVERYONE who came to Temple, despite the forecast and heat, we had NO RAIN and well, plenty of HEAT! The track was very pleased with the show! We welcomed a few new members as well and will have complete event results and photos posted very soon!
We'll see everyone at North Star July 6th! NSD Event info and details will be posted soon as well!

Wow what a great race at Little River, the weather held off until after we pull out of the gate. Congrats to the winners, and all of you racers who came out to support the SHRA race.
