Stroud Safety Joins SHRA Nostalgia Drag Racing for 2016!
The Southwest Heritage Racing Association is proud to bring on Stroud Safety as a marketing partner for 2016! Based in Oklahoma City, Stroud has been a leader in racing safety for more than 30 years. Beginning with drag chutes, Stroud now manufacturers more than 150 products – all geared to increasing the safety at race tracks all over the country and all over the world!
Bob Stroud, founder of Stroud Safety has taken his engineering degree from Oklahoma State University and applied his practical experience to create the best in parachutes and safety equipment. Bob in fact is an avid parachute jumper with over 1000 jumps to his credit. This, along with his 7 years in the Army Special Forces and an examiner for the FAA illustrate his commitment to safety. Mary Jo Jerome, General Manager of Stroud is an avid nostalgia drag fan and jumped at the chance to support the racers and teams in the SHRA.
Stroud Safety will be the presenting sponsor of the 4th Annual SHRA Spring Nostalgia Nationals on May 7th at North Star Dragway in Denton, TX. In addition, Stroud will be supporting the Old School Bracket classes with a $100 bonus for each class for the Best Round 2 Losing Package.
