Howdy All, I was given one of your flyers at a race earlier this year in Ennis. I typically run Nostalgia Supper Stock but most NSS series run their events a long way from Texas. We are hoping to see more NSS events down here in the Southwest. I sure like what I have read so far about SHRA! Looks like our kinda crowd! I plan on making it to some of your events soon and hopefully encourage other Texas NSS racers to participate. -Dave

Kyle Shircliffe I have a model T coupe and a fed project. I'm 25 yrsold From Houston TX and hope to make it to some of the races in 2015 with the coupe in non electric. I'm with the outkast car club and allot of our members are keeping a close eye on the shra. Just hard for us to make alot of the races, but going to try particularly, for San Antonio and little River and Denton thanks for putting on the show and greetings. Kyle

2014 was my first experience with the SHRA. What a great group of people with a family atmosphere to be associated with. The SHRA does a great job of getting the events in and run on schedule and we really enjoy the opportunity to run multiple tracks throughout the year. We are looking forward to 2015 and making more friends with in the group.

Hi there,
My name is Andrew Thornton, i'm from La Porte, Texas. I'm 19 years old and race my 1981 Chevy Camaro known as "Doomsday" in the No-Box/No-E classes. Looking to run all the SHRA events that the Old School No Electronics category is contested at in 2016. I currently race at Royal Purple Raceway and HMP mostly, have made trips to SCR in Baton Rouge, Temple, have watched a couple of events at Northstar, even raced in Bowling Green Ky this year for the Camarofest. I have a youtube web series where I film every pass I make at every track and post them, looking to continue on next year at some new venues! If you'd like, check it out at my youtube channel: amtracing4180 Looking forward to racing with yall!

Hello all. New member here and I had promised Chris that I would put something together once I had enough pics of my new build to make it worthwhile. My name is David Wells I attended several races last year in preparation of building a new car so I could come play. Some of you Okies may remember me as the racing fuel salesman at Red Rock Dist in OKC in the early 2000's. While there I sponsored several racers with product and helped crew on a Jr Fuel car and built my own. I was never competitive but had a blast trying. Fast forward a few years and I ended up in Amarillo and made the ill fated decision to pull the injected small block out and install a blown 496. A few test passes and one off the end of the track incident and I was out of commission. Now happily situated in San Antonio my new FED is nearly complete. Once again I will go back with the same injected small block and run the NE3 class, but the blown motor is sitting in the corner waiting on me and my team to get back in the groove. Speaking of team, while in Amarillo I found it easier to find someone who wanted to drive than to find someone who would haul me back after a run. Enter Chris Daniel. Again he will drive this new car. Picture of my old car that Tera took many years ago at Ardmore. And a hint of the new one.
